Special shamrock

This is probably my favorite thing I have worked on lately. It was made for a special little boy, which made it that much more enjoyable to make! I hope he gets some good wear out of it before he outgrows it! :)

What have I been up to, you ask?

Well, a lot of non-monogramming things, that's for sure! But after a post-holiday lull, things are starting to pick up again, which means more fun in the sewing room! Here are a few things I have been working on lately...

In other news...I'm excited to start selling some great stuff from Mainstreet Collection. Stay tuned for a preview! Everything is so cute! Lots of chevron! And the 6 pack coolers are here, as well. Time to start thinking about summer! Yippee!

A customer brought me this great 6 pack cooler to personalize, and I liked it so much I ordered some! Love them! They come in the blue/white chevron (think Carolina), black/white chevron, black with white polka dots, red with white polka dots (all perfect for State!), and an array of solids! Perfect for tailgates, the beach, or whatever! Can't wait to get them!

Who's ready for Thanksgiving?

Stitched this cute turkey letter out for O tonight! Loving the tone on tone chevron. I think LC will need one, as well! Looking forward to some more fall and Thanksgiving projects!

It's October??

How can it possibly be October already? I still have a messy sewing room, a list of "summer want-to-dos" a mile long, and haven't done my fall shirts for my kids! However, I have gotten the furniture for the sewing room put together (thank you sweetie), gotten through a mountain of monogrammed towels, and fulfilled some other monogramming orders. And perhaps monogrammed a thing or two for my own kids. I've even practiced some more applique, and really enjoy it!

I'm so excited to finally be tackling the task of getting this website up and running! Please bear with me as I add to it, posting color and font choices, items I have stitched, and whatever else strikes my fancy! Things have been wild and wooly around here since the birth of our daughter at the end of June. Caring for her and our 21 month old son, getting settled in our new home, and just life itself leaves little time for my "fun"--monogramming-- but I try to fit it in whenever I can!
